Following On

My latest Exhibition is called 'Following On' and is loosely based on where the Four Scottish Colourists painted about 100 years ago.  The locations include Fife, Dumfries and Galloway, Iona and Venice.  There are Garden and Still Life Paintings also.

Included in this show, are some Colourist copies of well known paintings by Cadell, Peploe, Fergusson and Hunter.

The paintings can be seen at The Scottish Gallery, Edinburgh from the 3rd March to the 31st March.

The Art School

Welcome to the news page, where we will be able to tell you about all the things we are doing in the studio- and beyond! I am continuing to run the Art School with my husband David. The Winter/ Spring Courses have been popular, and I am busy writing new courses for the summer months. Flowers, Gardens and Landscape will be the themes, to take us through the warmer months. Again, there will be a mixture of media available to learn to paint with. We have had great success with collage and mixed media in particular, as well as students having the opportunity to work on the bigger scale in some classes.

We are very happy to hear your suggestions and will answer questions about any aspects of the courses we offer. So do please get in touch.
