An Invitation To Paint With Ann Oram RSW

Are you a painter looking for inspiration or new ways of working, or a beginner just starting out?

Ann Oram, known for her vibrant fower and still life paintings, is running a series of two-day intensive painting courses from her studio in Fife.

The studio is a comfortable, light flled room in the peaceful setting of Logie House and opens out onto the walled garden. Fires are lit on cool days, and the atmosphere is informal and relaxed.

The courses are for small groups of students - usually around 6 per class – and include complete beginners and more advanced students. Working with small groups, Ann can teach a great deal more and give more personal tuition. Prepare to work hard, but have fun while you learn.

This is an opportunity to try working on different subjects, using a wide variety of media. You can learn to work with watercolours and gouache, mixed media and collage, and oil painting. So from still life to townscape, small scale to large scale, colour will be a big feature of what you do. Interested? Then  check the leafet enclosed, and select your course.

Please dress appropriately for making art! All you have to do is bring along yourself and your brushes!

What’s included:
The cost is for two days tuition is £150 and £75 for one day.

• Intensive tuition over 2 days.
• Tea, coffee and refreshments available. Do take your own packed lunch.
• All materials provided, although you must take your own brushes and palette, masking tape and kitchen roll.
• Final crit at the end of the two days.
